SHEBOYGAN AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT MEETING

Tuesday, November 22, 2022

6:00 PM

3330 Stahl Road, Sheboygan

11/22/22 SASD board meeting agenda

Click on the link above to see the entire agenda for the meeting. As an SASD resident and/or parent, you can sign in to make comments regarding any items on the agenda. Of particular interest are the following items:

The Human Growth  and Development Committee will be recommending some changes in the sex ed program to the board of education. We are hoping they will adopt an “Opt in” program, rather than an “Opt out” choice at registration which we believe has the potential to make individual students the objects of ridicule from their classmates.

We also are requesting that the MAIN focus of sex education be on abstinence; rather than a manual of how to perform sex acts and “avoid pregnancy”.

Several of the advisory committee members listed as “healthcare professionals” are Planned Parenthood employees! Therefore, the program is very one-sided at this time!

If you are interested in serving on the committee, please contact Mr. Eric Spielman at 920-459-6429 or email  Eric Spielman, Coordinator of Instructional Services at SASD

If you would like to know more about the position first, contact Elle Vojta at  [email protected]
